Delaware
Delaware has some of the strongest gun laws in the country. The state has worked to enact important gun safety legislation. The Charleston loophole has essentially been closed, allowing the state enough time to conduct background checks. An extreme risk protection order law has also been passed.
Governor John Carney has enacted new gun safety legislation like prohibiting bump stocks. To become a safer state, Delaware can pass legislation to require all firearm purchasers to obtain a purchase permit, as well as regulate all DIY gun making and prohibit untraceable and undetectable firearms.
