NEW AD: Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund and Greater Garden State Announce $500K in New Digital Ad Spending to Elect Mikie Sherrill

NEW YORK — Today, Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund and Greater Garden State announced $500k in new digital ad spending to elect Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill as New Jersey’s next governor. The spending includes a new ad that highlights why Jack Ciattarelli’s MAGA record is too extreme for New Jersey, including his opposition to common-sense gun safety laws and support for an abortion ban in the state. The spending will run across digital and streaming platforms across New Jersey. 

“As a Navy veteran, former prosecutor, and leader in Congress on gun safety, Mikie Sherrill has proven she knows what it takes to keep New Jersey families safe,” said John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety. “Electing her as New Jersey’s next governor is a top priority for Everytown, and our grassroots army will go all-out to keep the governor’s office in the hands of a gun sense champion.”

Representative Mikie Sherrill has been a champion for gun violence prevention in Congress, fighting to keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers, expand access to secure storage efforts, and ensure background checks on all gun sales. She serves on the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force and helped pass the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the first major federal gun safety legislation in a generation. As governor, she will build on New Jersey’s strong gun safety laws and work to keep illegal guns off the streets and out of the hands of violent criminals.
