Louisiana Moms Demand Action, Everytown Respond to Shooting at Congressional Baseball Practice in Alexandria

BATON ROUGE, La. – Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a part of Everytown, released the following statement in response to reports of a shooting Wednesday morning at Congressional baseball practice in the Del Rey neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia.

Although details are still developing, early reporting indicates that multiple people were shot, including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, Congressional staff and police officers.
