WASHINGTON – Everytown for Gun Safety released the following statement today after Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called for a broad package of popular gun reforms, many of which President Trump embraced during a meeting with bipartisan members of Congress in the wake of the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida.

Now it’s time for President Trump to bring together all Americans – including congressional Republicans, who too often side with the extreme NRA – to get this done.
