    DC Moms Demand Action, Everytown Respond To Fatal Shootings Over Memorial Day Weekend

      WASHINGTON – The D.C. chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, part of Everytown for Gun Safety, released the following statement in response to reports that four people were shot and killed in several shootings over the Memorial Day weekend.

      STATEMENT FROM SARAH DACHOS, VOLUNTEER LEADER WITH THE DC CHAPTER OF MOMS DEMAND ACTION FOR GUN SENSE IN AMERICA:

      “We are once again left reeling from gun violence in our neighborhoods. Our hearts go out to the family and friends of the victims as well as the entire D.C. community and we should all be outraged. This awful news is a tragic reminder that we must all do more to prevent gun violence in Washington, D.C.”
